painting the parthenon


today in class we “painted the parthenon” – pretending our rodin busts from last week were famous sculptures in the greek temple…i love how individual they are – just as wonderfully unique as my students…

from the pensive lady from the elizabethean era

to the dazed, balding frenchman

to the highly fashionable, scarf-wrapped career woman

and finally, to the purple-barretted child who just saw a black widow
